Enviro Bins Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Enviro Bins Pty Ltd. By hiring a skip bin from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.

1. Payment Terms

Payment for skip bin hire is due within 7 days from the date of invoice only for approved account customers

Payment for skip bin hire is to be paid prior the removal of Skip Bin

If payment is not received within the specified timeframe, Enviro Bins Pty Ltd reserves the right to:

  • Return the contents of the bin (or items of equal value) to the customer at their expense.

2. Prohibited Waste

The following items are strictly prohibited from being placed in the skip bin:

  • Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials.
  • Liquid waste (e.g., chemicals, oils, paints, solvents).
  • Hazardous or toxic materials.
  • Gas bottles.
  • Food waste.
  • Medical or biological waste.

If prohibited waste is found in the bin, the customer will be liable for additional disposal costs, fines, or penalties

3. Surcharges for Specific Waste Types

The following items may incur additional surcharges due to special disposal requirements:

  • Tyres.
  • Mattresses.
  • Artificial turf.
  • Plasterboard or gypsum.
  • Laminated timber boards.
  • MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard).

Customers must notify Enviro Bins Pty Ltd in advance if any of these items will be disposed of in the bin.

4. Overloaded or Unsafe Bins

Skip bins must not be overloaded or filled above the rim.

Bins that are deemed unsafe or overloaded may be refused for collection by our drivers.

If it is safe to collect an overloaded bin, a surcharge may apply for the extra volume.

The customer is responsible for ensuring the bin is loaded safely and within the specified weight and volume limits.

5. Placement of Skip Bins

The customer must ensure the skip bin is placed on a flat, stable surface that is accessible for delivery and collection.

Enviro Bins Pty Ltd is not responsible for any damage caused to driveways, footpaths, or other surfaces during delivery or collection.

By Law Bins placed on roadway or nature strips or council property will need a council permit acquired by Enviro Bins Pty Ltd.

6. Hire Period

The standard hire period is as agreed upon at the time of booking.

Extensions to the hire period may be available upon request and may incur additional fees.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date to qualify for a full refund.

Late Cancellations will incur a cancellation fee.

8. Liability

Enviro Bins Pty Ltd is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of the skip bin, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

The customer is responsible for ensuring the bin is used in a safe and lawful manner.

9. Compliance with Laws

The customer agrees to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding waste disposal and skip bin usage.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Enviro Bins Pty Ltd reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

By hiring a skip bin from Enviro Bins Pty Ltd, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
